For Japanese people, the New Year’s Day is probably the most important and waited holiday for the whole year.
We do special ceremony for the New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day to start a brand new year. There are so many ceremonies we do to list here, but to list a few, we eat buckwheat noodle on the Eve and rice cake on the New Year's Day. We give out some fortune cash for kids, (only kids get the money) and they will go and buy a happy surprising bag that most of shops in town offer, in which we don't know what's in.
We, such a diligent people, will have a seven days of winter break from 29th of December to 4th of January.
We will be back on 5th of January. We will not be able to respond to any of your e-mails nor telephone calls.
Please understand and be patient till we get back to our office in the new year.
We wish you a Happy Holidays and happy time with your loved ones.
And wish us a Happy New Year!
